How do I deposit USD from Melio?

To make receive payments from Melio, you will need to link your Parallax bank account. You can do this through two ways: 

1. Through the settings page: 

- Go to your "Settings"

- Click on "Payments and Billing" > Select "Receiving Methods" 

- You will see "Payment methods" on the right of the screen. Choose "Bank account" by click "Add this method" 

- Enter your Parallax account details. (See instruction below to find your Parallax details). Click "Save and Continue"

- Click Got it. You will receive microdeposits to your Parallax account. Microdeposits are deposits that are less than $1, you will use those numbers to verify the linked bank account in Melio. 

 

2. When making a payment

The second way to connect your Parallax account to Melio is when you are making a payment

Adding your bank account when making a payment  

- Create a bill or select from one of your existing bills.

• From the Vendors tab- select a vendor and click Pay balance to pay existing bills or New payment.
• From the Bills tab- select a bill and click Pay.
•  

- Choose Bank Account as payment method

- Select Verify with deposits.

- Enter your Parallax account details. (See instruction below to find your Parallax details). Click "Save and Continue"

- Click Got it. You will receive microdeposits to your Parallax account. Microdeposits are deposits that are less than $1, you will use those numbers to verify the linked bank account in Melio. 

How to find your Parallax details 

To find your bank details, log in to your Parallax account and on the Home page, under "Your Balances", click on the Deposit button of your Parallax USD Account

 

 

Choose "ACH, Wire Transfer or Direct Deposit" and collect your bank details. Input the necessary information (Account number, Routing number, Account type) into your Upwork account
