How do I onboard as a business?

Business accounts are currently in beta and reserved for businesses sending either to >30 people per month or transacting >$50,000 in monthly volume. If you think you are a good fit, schedule time to get a demo about the business account here.

We can also only support select businesses based in certain countries (please reach out for this list). Additionally, if your entity is in the US, we cannot yet support entities in New York, Florida, Alaska and Louisiana. This will change and be available in 2025.

If you are deemed eligible by the Parallax team, follow the steps below.

Note: Business accounts incur a one-time fee of $30 to process the business account verification.

Step by Step Onboarding

If you have questions, please message us in your respective dedicated Slack channel or via email. 

1. Go to app.withparallax.com/register and register your email. Confirm your email.
   • Note: At this time, Business accounts in beta can only be access by 1 Admin email.
2. Choose "Business Account" then Next
3. Prepare your documents then click "I'm ready"
4. Input your personal information as the owner of this Admin user role and add a Password if not using Google login.
   
   • Note: If you're unable to click "Next", please make sure you TYPE OUT your information instead of pre-filling as much as possible.
   • 
5. Tell us more basic information about the Business. 
   • Legal Business Entity Name (please make sure this matches your documentation)
   • Country of Business Registration
     
     • Note: For the time being until Dec 2024, US-based business accounts can only receive payments from first-parties (bank accounts with the same name as the business). Upon migrationin Dec 2024, this will get upgraded.
   • What you will be using Parallax for? Choose the best one.
6. Agree to the Parallax and Partner Agreements
7. Click Verify Now with Persona
8. Go through the Persona Business Verification steps.
   • Finish the steps all the way through.
   • You will go through Standard and Enhanced verification
     • 
9. Make you finish all the way through. You'll know you are done when these questions are also answered.
10. UBOs, Beneficial Owners and Control Persons that you indicated should now also receive a link in their email asking to verify their Identity. Everyone should complete this. Here's an example of what they should see.
11. Review. We will then review your business and you'll get a notification from our team! Please send us a message when you've completed this all.
